So how do you make your very own DIY garden table? This article begins by covering the very basics of what a DIY garden shed looks like. To begin with, the main frame or “mast” of your shed must be made of wood and it must be attached to a sturdy, solid concrete foundation. After this is done then you can attach the vinyl or metal panels that will hold up your roof, the walls and any other items you feel like putting in there.

The next step is to prepare the materials you will need for this project. This list includes: Two screws of adequate length and a length of flexible wire (or spool of line), sand paper, masking tape, painter’s tape, a hand saw, marking pencil and an eraser, a spade, hoes, brushes and rollers, a hammer, a tape measure, a pencil and paper, stakes, a level and a circular or cross-cut saw. Now that you have gathered your tools and materials you should review your plan again, making sure to go over any detail that was not covered in the instruction. Once this step is done, you are ready to start tackling your DIY garden shed!

The first thing you will want to do is preparation. Start by removing all of the equipment from the building, in particular the wheel and the paint cans. Cover all of your equipment in plastic bags, so it doesn’t get mixed up and contaminated with the saw dust. You now need to remove the old panels from the building. There will be plenty of space left over after taking this out, so just clear this away. Next you should clean the floor of any leftover dirt and debris using the dry cement and hoes.

The next step in the process is to prime the flooring and paint it to your desired colour. You should leave a couple of coats of this on the floor to make it easier to clean when it is time to apply the paint. The final step in this process is to attach the panels to the floor with masking tape, and then to the side of your garden shed to ensure that they don’t move around.

After the above is complete you are ready to start affixing the panels to the floor. You will probably want to use masking tape to ensure that the panels remain in place through the entire process. You are now going to need to attach the roofing to the panels, and to the side of your shed to ensure that they don’t move around. You may find it better to use two or three coats of paint, as one coat may peel off quite quickly. Continue this process until the entire garden shed is covered in a thick layer of paint.

At this point, you will have to take out the old leather belt that you placed under the bench in the previous step, and to tighten it onto the frame. You may also want to consider replacing the door hinges with those that are stronger and more secure, as well as adding some new handles and lock mechanisms to the door. The door may have come with some handles already attached, but you can add them at a later stage if you wish. In order to finish off the garden, consider attaching a garden stake, either a plain wood one, or one made out of cedar to the wall at the bottom.

If you are looking for inspiration on how to create your own DIY garden shades, you can start by searching the web for online tutorials. There are so many different types of patterns available that you can work your way through by reviewing all the options. This is a great way to get ideas and tips without having to actually commit to anything right away. After getting a feel of what kind of garden design you want to achieve, you can then go about painting and taping everything together.
